Throughout my work as a silversmith, goldsmith and jeweller I stand by the tenet of functional simplicity addressing the needs of contemporary lifestyle and celebration.
I am wholly conscious that in commissioning myself, the client is looking for something which is original, unique and will likely be a talking a point as much a an article of function.
COMMISSIONS
There are two factors that inform the design process.
-All individual orders are fabricated and finished by myself.
-I benchmark and maintain strict control on large corporate orders.
public and private work
Throughout Charles’s career he has created work for both public and private enjoyment. He undertook his first major public commission while still a student at the Royal College of Art.
